RIDEAU HALL, Ottawa, ON Perimeter fence repair Our work consist of the restoration of a portion of the 7,100 ft long Victorian cast iron and cast stone fence that is surrounding Rideau Hall, the official residence of the Governor General of Canada. This heritage monument was built in 1927. The Perimeter Fence project involves the disassembly and reassembly of masonry pillars, restoration of existing limestone, cast stone sculptural elements and mortar repair, fabrication of new cast decorative grey iron fence components and on-site cutting/welding and repairs to metal fence.
