ZIBI BLOCK 2-3

The scope of work was to restore the foundations, exterior and interior of the block 2-3 industrial brick buildings located at the midpoint of the Eddy and Booth street bridge linking Ottawa and Gatineau.

The 5 wythes brick structure needed numerous full depth rebuilding, temporary shoring and repointing. Close to 50 000 bricks were replaced including the core of the structure.

Also, we removed 100% of the contaminated paint on the perimeter of the building using abrasive and chemical products.
